More Than Just a Club — A Community

North West Stars Sporting Club (NWS) is a non-profit community sporting club in NSW established in 2022, bringing people together through sport, friendship and shared community spirit.

Based in Marsden Park, New South Wales, NWS provides opportunities for people to stay active, develop their skills, enjoy friendly competition and build lasting connections.

We believe sport is about more than winning games. It is about teamwork, respect, inclusion, wellbeing and creating a welcoming environment where everyone can feel part of the community.

Our Story

NWS began with an initial meeting at Marsden Brewery on 31 October 2022, where the founding members came together to discuss the vision and future of the club.

Following discussions about the club's vision, organisational structure and constitution, the first committee was elected in November 2022. The club subsequently announced its name and logo, held its first family event, and achieved incorporation as Associations (NSW) INC2201219 on 5 December 2022.

What started as a shared vision has grown into a community built around sport, social connection and participation.
